Bink

Bink is when a player's cursor increases in size, thus making aiming more disobedient. Binks can occur 2 ways; one by getting hit by bullets (including friendly fire) or firing Automatic weapons continuously instead of in bursts (dubbed "self-bink").

Tactics to avoid bink

There are several tactics, known by snipers especially, such as mid-air proning (to make selves harder to hit), and changing the aim direction suddenly and releasing all key before shooting.

Methods to avoid self-bink

Two methods exist to avoid self-binking from an auto; stop firing for a tiny bit after every burst of bullets, or constantly tap as if the weapon was a semiauto. However, The Geologist simply claims to exhaust his mags in one hold while erratically shaking the cursor about. No scientific tests have proven this last procedure to be very effective .
