Bonuses

Bonuses give the player an extra advantage to kill their opponents. They can be picked up in the form of boxes and will mostly have a temporary effect. Their spawn frequency can be set differently in each server with the exception of medikits and grenadekits, which differ from map to map.
All bonuses except for GrenadeKits and MediKits appear temporarily before disappearing and respawn at set intervals of time, which can change depending on the server (most nowadays render them very rare or disable them completely).

[edit] MediKits

MediKits will completely refill your health no matter what. However, you can only pick them up if you are hurt and if no other player is currently standing on top of them.
It is possible to 'steal' MediKits; in the Capture the Flag gamemode, whatever MediKits you use near the opposing side's flag will tend more to respawn near your own. This can be both a blessing and a curse: while you can now refill your health close to your flag, so can the enemy, although now the opposition cannot heal upon routing.

GrenadeKits will give you the maximum number of grenades allowed from the server. However, you can only pick them up if you do not already have the maximum number of grenades and if no other player is currently standing on top of them. To change the number of maximum grenades per player in your server, see the settings article.
Like MediKits, it is possible to 'steal' GrenadeKits; in the Capture the Flag and Infiltration gamemodes, whatever GrenadeKits you use near the opposing side's flag will eventually begin respawning near your own.

Duration: Not applicable
Clusterkits give you 3 cluster grenades which scatter into 5 proximity-detonating shrapnel on impact (a perfect hit of an initial cluster grenade on an enemy instantly kills him). It is comparable to the cluster grenade in Worms.
Clusterkits function like GrenadeKits and more Cluster Grenades (max. 3) can be acquired through more bonuses.

Duration: Not applicable
Vestkits will give you a bulletproof vest that allows you to endure more bullets from any weapon, with the exceptions of direct hits from M72 LAWs and M79s. It gives you set amount of armour equal to another full health bar that absorbs damage whenever you are hit; health is still lost in taking damage, but with a vest, the amount lost is drastically cut as the vest suffers. Combat Knives can easily slice through bulletproof vests.
VestKits function like MediKits, and can be acquired through more bonuses, whether if one's vest is less than 100% or is already 100%.

Duration: 25 seconds
The Predator bonus gives you full health and makes your character nearly invisible while slightly altering your screen's colours. Keep in mind that flying (jet exhaust), firing (although sound is silent, gunfire flashes are still visible), losing health (dripping blood), and carrying the flag (the Predator powerup only cloaks you, not flags) will all make it easier for opponents to track you down.
Neither the Berserkerkit or Flamerkit can be obtained while a Predatorkit is in effect.

Duration: 15 seconds
The Berserker mode gives you full health and makes your weaponry four times as powerful while darkening your screen and making your soldat randomly spew blood. However, this is completely wasted on one-hit-kill weapons such as the Barrett unless, for that particular weapon at least, a row of enemies can be discovered and killed in one shot (although on teamless gamemodes it could be a good idea to grab it anyways to prevent enemies from taking it).
Neither the Flamerkit or Predatorkit can be obtained while a Berserkerkit is in effect.
[edit] Flamerkit

Duration: 10 seconds
This kit turns you into a FlameGod which gives you full health, renders you invulnerable for 10 seconds, and gives you a flamethrower which cannot be discarded until the duration limit for invincibility is reached. The flamethrower's fire can be passed to others through contact (including to yourself, teammates, and corpses) for a short amount of time. Keep in mind that the flamethrower, while a quick killer, has a very short range and disappears upon discarding. Your alternate weapon can be switched to; this is the weapon you had out when you picked up the Flamerkit (the other weapon vanishes).
Neither the Predatorkit or Berserkerkit can be obtained while a Flamerkit is in effect.
