FliesLikeABrick, otherwise known as FLAB, Flies or Bricks for short, is the main administrator on the official Soldat Forums, the new host for the Soldat Forums, the Soldat homepage, and all other official Soldat content, and the owner/developer/administrator of the U13 website and servers. Although the initials of his name spell out FLAB, he is not to be confused with flab, a British Soldat player.

Humble Beginnings

FliesLikeABrick worked his way through the Soldat community from the ground up, at first becoming well known for creating the first statistics system on the famous U13 website, a project through which FliesLikeABrick had only planned to learn the web coding language PHP. However, the websites ability to provide its regular players with statistics such as their average kill:death ratio and number of captures in CTF games allowed its popularity to grow throughout the simple community. FliesLikeABrick soon became a figurehead of importance in the community, further so when his seemingly communist philosophy of life resulted in the open source release of his statistics system, allowing other servers to make free use of the same aspects that made U13 so popular.

Soon enough FliesLikeABrick was promoted within the Soldat Forums hierarchy, becoming a moderator of the Fan Apps and Web Pages forums, and started taking an active interest in beta testing, providing servers for the latest versions of Soldat to be tested on. He proved his good nature and helpfulness time and time again, and eventually earned his place amongst the ranks of the administrators of the forums, through his extensive knowledge providing Chakra and Amblin with the ability to make drastic changes to the site, rather than just banning people constantly. This ultimately led to FliesLikeABrick and Chakra coordinating a greatly beneficial shift to a new host, forum software and way of life for the Soldat community.

FliesLikeABrick hosts and manages a custom-build dedicated server for MM. This server hosts everything official known to the world of Soldat including:

• FliesLikeABrick stays in close contact with Michal Marcinkowski, claiming he speaks to him at least once a day. He stays rather quiet about the nature of their conversations, and what they discuss.
• He hopes to play an active role in developing the Crimson Glory community for Michal.
• Loves eating lots of Indian food on the weekend.
• His name is Ryan Rawdon.
• He lives in New York, USA, and studies at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
• FliesLikeABrick suffered from a form of cancer, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, when he was younger, and he believes his experience is responsible for how he is as a person, specifically with his anti-drug/smoking/stupidly beliefs. He wrote an article for his college's school newspaper about his experiences.
