Gamut

I established the name Gamut entirely for Soldat - I wanted a name that reflected my tendency to shift my strategies as events developed, plus an original name. "Gamut" came to mind, from the phrase, "running the gamut", essentially meaning "covering all bases".

I stumbled across Soldat a year ago, when one of my dormmates showed it to me - I was immediately intrigued by it, and as a result, started playing. I hopped around servers until I found that I like Infiltration maps, which lead me to Leo's Realistic Servers. It was there that I met lpzie, and (hopefully) impressed him enough with my playstyle to warrant the invitation.

I like to think that I started the Desert Eagle craze - when I first joined, not many people used them, so I chose them as my primary weapons. Even with the tide of Steyr AUG and Minimi users, I remain stalwart in my usage of badass pistols.
