Mr.Spoon is a Soldat player from Greifswald, Germany. He's been seen using nicks apart from that, like root or other geek-references that seemingly noone understands in the community.

[edit] The Myth of the Nick
The roots of the nick "Mr.Spoon" have been lost a long time ago, but as Mr.Spoon himself states, it's supposed to have soemthing to do with a random name in Worms2 and some other, unmentioned games. He took the name when he felt that his first primary nick for games wasn't the real thing for him. As he feels the first nick was a failure, you should never ask him about it. At the moment, he keeps switching between Mr.Spoon and root, but the geekier he gets during his studies, the more constantly he changes to nicks that feel geekier to him, like Azathoth, Nyarlathotep or 127.0.0.1.

Mr.Spoon started out playing Soldat at an early version, though he can't remember which one that was. It was single player all the way for him then, because he didn't have a decent Internet connection at his parents place. He downloaded some of the newer versions none the less and continued to kill some bots.

After moving from Berlin to Greifswald, he got a good Internet connection at last and it wasn't much later that he downloaded the latest Soldat and started playing online. He wasn't really connected to the community at that time. Some time later though, after getting some online experience, he thought about searching for a clan, thus starting to use IRC, although this was fruitless with one tryout he really botched. He got more active after that and gained some fame in the LRS community. These days he joined oldies, a fun clan for old Soldat players, but decided after some time that he wanted to have some clanwar experience, so he left the clan and joined USSR. Overwhelmed by tests and a rather hard life, he left USSR in july 07. Now he's in Plus, probably forever, since the neuro-chip is already implanted.

- He got soldat from the CD of a german computer games magazine.
- The first server Mr.Spoon ever connected too was one of the LRS servers, he did that from a friends place in his singleplayer days.
- His first post at LRS-forums was an unban request.
- He's currently an LRS server admin.
- He's got four Soldat installments with different mods on his machine, and one of the famous fan app Soldat Manager.
- Doesn't miss lappakinderi, since he's back and has joined Plus too.
