[edit] Beginning
The Rogue Elites clan was founded in Maryland on April 12, 2007 as a Soldat Clan. The clan was founded by Ryde and Assagala. They wanted a soldat clan to call their own. However, due to Assagala being on vacation and having a life, Ryde was on his own to create the clan. Mrpluckpluck joined and help build the foundation of the clan. When Assagala came back, the forums were started and so was the clan. Painkilla and Dux were one of the first recruits to this new clan. At first, the clan was off to a slow start. They went 4-7-1 in their first 12 games. There were some hard fought victories and devestating losses. However, with an influx of new foreign talent combined with homegrown talent, the team went on to 12-3-1 record. Soon the clan caught on fire. Currently their record is 16-10-2. This record surely will improve.
[edit] Summer of 07'
Just like the Summer heat, the Rogue Elites caught on fire. They were playing almost two clan wars a day. They were starting to face even tougher competition. But, the Rogue Elites calmly defeated their enemies one by one. New members weren't coming in crazy like the beginning, but the clan was gaining a reputation. Soon they joined Teh League to test out how good they really were. The only played one match because everybody else never played. They one that first Teh League match against the Gunner Guards. Their record went on at that time to be 99-37-6.
[edit] Exodus of European Players
The Rogue Elites unfortunately decided to go into a different direction. With the introduction of new talent and ideas, the Rogue Elites decided to become a North American-only clan. With that, the group of players from Europe comprising of half the members in Rogue Elites left. Led by Mrpluckpluck, paRaq and Mr. Jumbo Jets, they decided to start a European clan from the European division of Rogue Elites. From there they created the Drunk Slags. Many of the European players in Rogue Elites decided to immediately go there.
[edit] Beginning
With a record that is unsurpassed, the Rogue Elites are slowly becoming a semi-pro clan. With time, that could change. Recently, with the death of the {~!EL~} clan, some of their top members are coming over to the Rogue Elites. The talent influx will have even higher skills then before. The Rogue Elites are facing pro-clans now like nA| and *eQ*. With more reputation comes more members. But the Rogue Elites have tightened up on the number of recruits coming in. Also they are going to enter SCTFL for the first time in its clan history.
[edit] New Beginning
Inexplicitly, Spec Ops loved Rogue Elites. So much so that he kept it alive along with CrumblyCookie and reverted it to the tag RE|. With only two players in the clan, all they could do was play many gay 2vs2 matches with clan EO. They picked ctf_Nuubia every match to the despair of oranj. Much no skilled MP5 spraying was involved but the constant matches against EO bloomed into a beautiful friendship. Soon after, Spec Ops invited Piro of EO to join followed by oranj, SirBe, and most of EO forming the core of RE.
The Rogue Elites enjoyed much success in SCTFL13 with a solid lineup of Spec Ops, Piro, oranj, Cray, and Blitz, a new and underrated player. They flitted in and out of the top 20, underwent a name change to Fatality, and suffered from inactivity within the last weeks of freeplay. Blitz also quit because of real life problems- more specifically because he failed to wrap his junk. As a result RE did not make the playoffs. On a side note, SirBe rejoined RE during SCTFL but was shortly axxed again. He was invited into Fatality as well and axxage followed. Perhaps it was too much axxing for one indivisual as he left Soldat and his friends.
[edit] New new beginning
After a brief stint in Syndicate, Ryde's 24th clan the RE group picked up a new player "Vectorious". To nobody's surprise "Syn" disbanded and Ryde was left to revive his past clans multiple times. Spec Ops was hungry for a playoff clan after RE's performance in SCTFL and joined the European clan "Cheeky Bananas". Oranj followed him as always. Cray flirted with the idea of being a homosexual and joined Elite Newbs. Piro and Vectorious were abandoned. Rogue Elites was restarted again by Spec Ops who gathered the players from its former glory: Vectorious, Oranj, and Cray. Piro (Casper) however, remains in his new clan "You Gay".
