Wumpus is a 1989 born male finnish realistic soldat player. He has played the game since 2005 using all weapons and trying to make each game special.

People often wonder where his nick comes from. The associate it with some furry animal but the truth is wumpus is a horrible monster! He originally found "wumpus" from computer game Nethack (a monster there) and googled a little bit to find out that there's another ancient game called "Hunt for Wumpus" where sadly, wumpus is being hunted. Wumpus was enough unique and sympatic sounding nick to use.

Often bored to hi everybody on the server or too tired to lift the heavy clan tag, wumpus uses other nicks to conceal himself and to annoy other people.
While you can never really know if some neverheard/unknown player is him, here are few signs to notice it
- He keeps spraying with his Minimi and if you tell him to stop he just says "Spray like the Wind!"
- He says "hNNNGH" when you kill him in a way he isn't supposed to die
- Hair type is dreadlocks, no bright colors, skin normal white
- He seems to be laughing ":D"s no matter how you try to piss him off
- He keeps picking up weapons from the battlefield, often flying unarmed to get his knife back or steal someone's barret
- He carries unusual weapon combinations like m79+law, knife+knife, saw+knife, law+law, barret+barret
- He shouts "yay!" when map changes to ctf_Lanubya
- "yarr!", "wee!", "wow", "lol", "bleech", "hmm", "aw", "eek", "hNNNGH"

Current main nick is "sndwnm" which is "wumpus" upside down.

Wumpus first clan was the New Order which he lead with Prismoon. Now, half an year after breakdown of NoR, wumpus appears to have made a comeback in the ranks of Finland Ordo Exterminatus. His motives remain a mystery.
He also claims founding the "saw-clan" on LRS by first using the tag SAW| .

Wumpus has made a couple of small movies about soldat. The biggest of them currently is New Order Clan Movie.
