X`fect is(was actually) currently one of the top competitive Capture the Flag clans in Soldat. The name is derived from the Italian operator x which is pronounced per. Therefore when combined with fect, the name becomes Perfect.

X`fect began on the Nineteenth of December in 2004 when experienced Soldat players Alakhai and Enik decided to begin a new saga in their Soldat careers. Little did they know that it would become one of the most respected and revered clans in the entire Soldat community. During its existence, X`fect harbored a number of well-known European figures in Soldat, as well as two North Americans, with past and present members of Mandlc, Knot, Rune, Hercule Poirot, Amigo, Bablo, Meandor, Eddy, Vampire Princess, Spectral, Chaka, Outcast, Shakal, Nitro, Superbeast, Ouchek, Ghouly, Camah, Predus, Basti_fantasty, Nahuel, CrazyLazy, Ajuka, Mancer, Puppeter, and Keinonen. While the Soldat Capture The Flag League VI was in a period of inactivity, X`fect ceased to exist, but was resurrected in July 2005 with several members returning. News of X`fect's return was heralded by Barry McTard on Soldat Radio.
The strong leadership period held by Alakhai, Enik, and Mandlc, came to an end after a poor finish in TNL 4. Alakhai and Mandlc left the clan they had served for years which then came under the sole leadership of Enik. Only him and Spectral remained from the true heyday X`fect, the clan then recruiting several new members as well as some old faces of the past. X`fect entered a new era with an almost complete reshuffling of its roster, though it continues to maintain its standard of excellence to this day, and hopes to stay at the top echelon of Soldat for many months to come.

X`fect collected an impressive amount of victories during its existence. Estimates provided by Spectral put its wins at ~600 as of January 09, 2005, with a winning percentage of about 80%. An incredible unbeaten streak of 75 matches was blazen in October and November 2005. It defeated Hawtsecks in a thrilling six-round slugfest to claim the thrown in The Pwnage Cup 2. X`fect's next major milestone victory occurred in The Next League 3, B Division. Widely regarded as the most difficult division in that running of the prestigious league, X`fect was able to fend off Alterego and Hawtsecks to finish top in the division. In December 2005 and early January 2006, X`fect defended The Pwnage Cup in its third contest, defeating such formidable foes as Mirage and Apocalypse and rising above Cross Fire to again hoist the mighty Pwnage Cup. In January 2006, X`fect defeated Delivering Evil Through Hell in the SCTFL 7 semifinals and obtained the 2nd place in the competition after ultimately losing the final to BioHazard.
